Fyvie Oldmeldrum Medical Practice – update

Dear Community,
From 2nd September 2024 Fyvie Oldmeldrum Medical Practice will be operated by Newburn Ltd. We look forward to working alongside the community and helping patients’ with their health needs. From Tuesday 3rd September 2024 we will be implementing changes within the practice.
The practice will operate a Care Navigation triage system. If you are seeking an appointment with a clinician (GP, ANP or other clinical member of staff) then you are asked to go through to the Care navigation team. Your call will be triaged by a trained care navigator who will then discuss your medical need with the clinical lead. You will then be given the appropriate care for your condition. This may be telephone advice, signposted to another service, a face to face appointment or otherwise.
The Care Navigation team is a very busy line however you can call at any time of the day between 8.30am and 17.00pm and your call will be triaged appropriately. Please be aware that our phone lines close between 12.15pm and 13.30pm daily however our emergency line will remain in operation for any genuine medical emergencies between 8am and 6pm.
